PHOTO FACIAL or BBL/IPL
Photo Facial is a light based treatment that uses BBL (Broad Band Light), not a laser. It is a broad spectrum light that is attracted to color, both reds and browns in the skin. The light turns into heat, hits the target (color) and scatters the capillaries and pigmentation, then the body absorbs the color. Photo Facial can be performed on most areas of the body. Face, Neck, Chest, Hands, Arms, etc…
It is effective to treat red/vascular issues (broken capillaries/rosacea, flushing, redness) and hyperpigmentation (brown spots). A consultation is required as is a 2-4 week skin prep w/product (hydroquinone, Retin-A, AHA, Vitamin C, etc…)
Typically 3-5 treatments, 3-4 weeks apart is recommended for correction and maintenance.
