Painting in the desert means I am on vacation. The wild desert colors and seeing something new is inspiring. Most of my desert paintings have been done in national parks, providing me access and views. Arches and Canyon Lands are favorites. Someday I will go to the Grand Canyon and try what all of those other painters before me have tried.
